Weather Watcher
I admit it, I'm anal about knowing what the weather currently is and the forecast (too many years of riding?). I also wanted it to be active on the taskbar. I looked at and installed a number of weather programs; each seemed to have their own quirks and lacked satisfying what I felt a good program should have.
Enter Weather Watcher. This is a small program with a variety of features that the user can control easily and make the program do what you want without jumping thru a bunch of hoops. It can be set to automatically update the weather and give you severe weather alerts. You can also activate a number of maps, etc. And its free although you can PayPal the author a few $$ if you like it.
