ST 1100 Fuel Cell

On a 24 hour rally you should gain from 1/2 to an hours riding time (maybe more?) by adding a cell as you won't be pulling in for gas as often or wondering where the next open gas station is. This will vary dependent on speeds and road conditions.

These cells are adapted from a design by Ron Major. Ron was a frequent competitor and normally placed well in motorcycle endurance events. He was taken early from us in 1997.

Jim Robertson then developed it further adding a filler which significantly reduces fueling time, a vent line and simplifying the installation.

They have been redesigned adding 1/2 a gallon to the capacity and giving you a choice of the filler cap style or a non-filler cap style with 5/8" fuel line and an increased size vent line. These 5/8" lines enable the cell to fill quickly without having to fill the stock tank and cell separately saving you time.
This also prevents leaving the gas station and realizing that you didn't open the cell shut off valve and yelling " %&*@ ".

Cells are made from 6061 T6 aluminum. Aircraft quality welded.
Your TOTAL capacity will be just under 11.5 gallons.
Cells come in satin black powder coat color. Other colors are available upon request.

"Can I install it myself?"
Quite a few riders have done the installation themselves. It depends on your mechanical ability and willingness to take the time to do it correctly. See FAQ also.
