Custom Rack Mount Fuel Cells


To quote a fuel cell, we need the following information:

Please give all measurements in inches

1. Length, Width, and Height
2. Maximum gallonage (if its a concern)
3. Any angles involved other than 90 degrees
4. How its going to mount; i.e., stud, bolt, etc.
5. If it will be mounted on an existing rack, where do you want the bolts placed?
6. Where do you want the fuel outlet placed?
6.A. What size and thread?
7. Where do you want the vent placed?
7.A. What size and thread?
8. Is there anything close like a sissy bar or back rest that is higher than where the rack will be?
9. Will you need a fuel pump? (If you're fuel injected, usually the answer is yes UNLESS you have a split tank. Usually with a split tank, you will see a small diameter fuel line pass beween both sides of your tank.)

Mounting stud or bolt placementFRONT is the side of the fuel cell that faces toward the front of the bike. We need at least 1/2" from the side as we use an insert we need space for.
