A hard to find part is a self-closing quick disconnect (made from steel and cad plated) rated for fuel. These seal each end separately. We are now supplying them up to 3/8" I.D. hose size. This includes the 2 piece self-closing quick disconnect and 2 brass adapters so you end up with a slip on fitting for the fuel line. The self-closing quick disconnect measures 3 1/4" long when connected. Please order by internal diameter (size) of fuel line you are using.
How do you tie your cell into your stock tank?
This set is everything you need to make a leak proof attachment for your fuel line. This is NOT a valve, just a connection. Most applications will use a 5/16" ID line. We can furnish other sizes but this is the most common and suggested if you're using a pump. If you are using on a Gold Wing use 1/4" as there's not much space under the seat.
We are also carrying a medium duty, small ball style valve for fuel. These have female pipe thread on both ends so you can thread it on to the self-closing quick disconnect by using an appropriately sized pipe nipple or use it separately anywhere in the line. This item is imported by a major fitting company, but well made.
Flip Style Filler Cap & Mount
These are aluminum. The O.D. of the fill tube is 2". The fill tube can be cut off if needed. This item is imported.
