Honda ST 1100 Handlebar Riser Extensions

Feel like you're reaching "way out there" for the handlebars?
3" (above)

Your stock cables "should" work on the 2" fine, on the 3" you might have to do a little re-routing - usually snipping the zip ties is all that's required. The 4" normally will require longer hoses and possibly longer throttle cables and wiring.

Why? How far forward (up) or rearward (down) you tilt the handlebars in the clamps determines how loose or tight the brake & clutch lines and cables will be.

"Reach"
As a rough guess, figure the 3" will give you about 2" more upward and about 1-1/4" more rearward position more than stock.
For the other lengths, figure about 2/3 of the length of the new riser more upward and about 1/3 the length of the new riser more rearward than stock.
Why? The risers sit at an angle to horizontal.

The grey plastic handlebar cover will NOT go back on correctly after installing the longer risers. A few riders have zip tied it back on but most leave it off and get used to it being off quickly. Plus its easier to get to the ignition switch.

(All ABS models require longer hoses)

What Size Do I Need?
The easiest way to determine what height you need is to get a friend to help you.

Sit on the seat, get comfortable. Get in the normal position YOU like whether its straight upright, angled or even if you slouch.

Put your hands where YOU want them. Have your friend take a measurement how far your hands are from the bars. Do not straight arm the bars - allow some bend at your elbows.
